Marines of Montford Point
Looking over my PBS schedule for tonight and I'm seeing a program entitled The Marines of Montford Point: Fighting for Freedom.
It's about black Marines training for WW-II. It was originally aired in 2007.
Has anyone seen this program?

No I haven't seen it. But I went to Montford point back in 73 and man it was the chits to take a shower and using the head.
The only real good thing was it was close to J-ville and you could walk there and back easily.

Yes, I beleive I have seen it a couple of times. It plays here on the
Jacksonville station from time to time. I think it is narrated by Morgan Freemen if I remember right. I have only seen about half of it, not to
bad as a history lesson of the time.
