I heard from some new Marines that 3rd Battalion got new barracks. Anyone got any details on this?

Yes, they did. When my nephew graduated 2 years ago, 3rd BN, they were building them then.
As for the details, a most recent Marine who went through 3rd BN will have to give you info on that.

I was there May 6th,and they looked new to me.
1st is across from the main parade deck near the water and second is on the main drag, and third is on the way to the range and Elliot's beach just after "clothing issue bldg " on Panama street. Moz USMC 68-70

It will result in housing for at least 2,000 recruits in 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, a headquarters building and facilities such as a rubber running track. $85 Million dollar complex.
