mos questions

Does anyone know how you choose your mos and when you get notified that you have one? google is helping some but not all questions

that depends on what you signed up as. when you sign your contract containing your mos, it should have said what you were going to be, whether or not you get a bonus and if there was some kind of secondary mos attached to yours. mine is 0621. the 0600 contract had communications with electronics attached to it. but if you ask around here i'm sure you'll find someone that can answer your mos questions. what is it anyways?

well, im not even a poolee yet, was thinking 3381, food service specialist, for some reson

infantry is not for me, too many people want to be in that field, think thats all there is to the marines, but I want to do something differnet, maybe not glory seeking but still useful

Well that's certainly a change. Did you do your own research or have you talked to a recruiter?

Also it's probably a good idea to start capitalizing Marine.

Think about 3451...important, growing field in the years ahead as we maintain our Corps' combat capability in the midst of decreasing federal budgets.
