Question about Allotments

I'll make this really simple...

- I set up an allotment to my Mom back home
- My 4/15 paycheck reflected this
- The money is not in her bank account (yet?)

So can anyone who has dealt with allotments before, tell me if the Allotment takes a couple extra days to get to another account. Is there a chance it's not posting because of the weekend?

-Routing number, and bank account number are 100% accurate

Sometimes it does take a few days, I have allotments to three different banks, and sometimes they hit on three different days. If nothing shows up by early next week I'd get ahold of your S-1 and have them look it up to see what they can tell you.

Allotments only post at the end of the month. You will never see an allotment post Mid Month. I have had several allotments go to personal bank accounts and I am very familiar with the process. Say you have a 150 dollar allotment. they will take 75 out on the 15th and 75 on the 31st and put 150 in your allotment accounts on the 31st. may take your bank a few days to process though
