    Maybe he's calling it a "boot hernia" because he's a boot and he's got a hernia.....barump bump! You missed something somewhere honey. He most likely has a hiatal hernia. He'll have surgery and best case scenario is that he's gonna spend a few extra weeks at boot camp. It's possible that he'lll be medically discharged as well.

    I believe you will find that a boot hernia is a term for flat feet and that aint good in the boots.
