USMC Victory Buckle, Peiping China
Have owned for over 40 years. I would like to know more about this fine looking piece of hardware.
Description:
PEIPING CHINA (in top left corner)
a 3 story pagoda with an oval ring around it (below Peiping China)
The EAGLE, GLOBE, AND ANCHOR emblem with rays coming from behind (on the right side)
VICTORY printed under the emblem
It is 2 3/16" wide and 1 1/8" high

It's for the Boxer Rebellion. Peiping is early spelling for Peking. Would be for relief of the city! 1900

Without seeing the reverse it's going to be difficult to give you much information. Buckles similiar to this were reproduced in quantities from around the 1970's, at least. (I've seen the ads in old Leatherneck mags...).
The EGA is of the wrong style for Boxer Rebellion, it's more of the modern, post 1958 almost, style.
Hard to tell for sure without seeing the back though.
