Means that you actually have to be a Marine to do it. I had the same problem when I was a Poolee. Just hit "Post Quick Reply" and you can do it that way.

Need to gain weight, I'd say have your recruiter give you a few MREs. They have a ton of calories and if all else fails you can just get a waiver or be a double rations recruit.
