Good Evening...I'm a Marine mom of a son who is graduating on Friday! You said in your post: "You can apply for the Platoon Leaders Course as soon as you are enrolled in college." Everything I read states that you have to have completed 12 credits. My son is signed up as a Reserve, just completed boot camp, will register for college (which starts in January), will complete his SOI training and then be off to college after the holidays. He has met all of the requirements to request PLC, with exception of the college credits. I was hoping you could clarify this issue for me. The real question is: what does he have to do while on leave to ensure the PLC path? Thank you for your posts/information....I appreciate your service!
