    My name is Sgt Daniel McDonough, I am a former recuit of yours, Sgt Culver's, and SSgt Ingerson's. I was in K Company, Plt. 3100 from 8/1999-11/1999. I was searching around and came accross your profile; I am definitely dissapointed to see that the Marine Corps treated you this way. I remember when the Company XO (I believe it was) seen some stuff through the back hatch of the squad bay and removed you from training for a few days. I think the same way now as we all did then; we all wanted you to come back so that we could receive training that the Marine Corps should offer and what we all believed it to be coming in. If there were more men like you I doubt that politics and mothers would be running our military in to the ground. I don't care what happened, you and the other DIs changed my life and I am forever indebted to you. I had no business being in boot camp as out of shape as I was and never having fired a rifle. You all pushed me through it and I came out to the fleet running first class PFTs, shooting expert and being selected to be a marksmanship instructor. You will always have my respect, and til this day I look to you and the other DIs for examples of what a Marine is and should be. Thank you
