    No, that's not true. My constructed is as follows: 38 years old currently, minus 6 years active duty is 32. The maximum construted age is 35. Marine Corps order that I pulled from Marines.mil 1130.80A also states that you must be able to get your 20 before age 55. So as you can see if your constructed age is 35 then you would still be able to get your 20 years by 55.

    Hey Leather neck. I am looking at getting back in myself. I was a Sgt. when I got out in 1995. I have 6 years of service and am currently 38 years old. I was told I was too old. To me that's bull****. Do you know if they have changed the age? Thanks, Nate Sgt. of Marines
