Hello there. I do believe I have as well. I have enjoyed just about everyone that I have come in contact with. I have told many that I have missed not being able to talk to fellow Marines has made me miss it that much more. Its been difficult since getting out. But finding this is great. Glad to meet you!

Sgt. Hammond. I'm glad I was able to give you a heads up on that book. I thought it was written pretty well and very informative about the operations, personnel, and morale, at the time. I can only imagine the memories it probably brought back. I'm humbled to be able to talk to you and others that sacrificed and accomplished mission in that hellish place. Semper Fi, Sgt.

Right behind you with 13 heads of horses. Lost one of them over the summer time. But they starting to breed like vermon... haha.

I have gotten my fill of here quick too....cali is not my ideal place, but do what you have to I suppose. I am so jealous of you and your horses! i have had horses all my life up until the Marine Corps. Right after I got married I suckered m husband into letting me get another horse if I gave him my mare from high school. It was great, but we were both active duty and didnt have much time. Its too expensive to board here if the are just pasture ornaments! He got over the horse thing pretty quick, but I had my gelding until I was about 6 months pregnant...then the little sucker bucked me off and I landed on...well, the baby and hubby made me get rid of him. It alright though, maybe when we get out of here I will be able to have another!
