Ok, you really need to do some research you have NO idea what your even asking. The DEP program is enlisting into the USMC and its the program your in while you wait to ship to boot camp. The DEP is OFFICALLY joining the USMC, you sign the dotted line and everything but you can still back out. What happens varies on your recruiting station and what they like to do. I would talk to a recruiter and talk with him.
