Hello my name is Tracy. I live in Folkston Ga. I am aware that we will be having allot of our troops coming home from Iraq soon. I am looking to match up veterans especially with PTSD with a dogs who is in a rescue/ foster home who needs a forever home. i saw your post and picture and thought you maybe able to give me some adive on how to find veterans who would be interested in a Pets for Vets type program. I see in your picture you work with K-9's as a police officer. Would you be interested in being available to give training adivce to me in case some rehabilitation is called for. I can teach basic obedience. It it very clear to me that your gifts and training skills far surpass mine. I know so many rescuses that are despratly needing to place good dogs in forever homes. I have seen documentaries where a dog has help in being a part of the healing process for a veteran. if you can please help. Also,I am looking for organization that train dogs for therapy.
