ITR at Camp San Onofre at Camp Pendleton. The view is the company street, from one row west of my QH, over the top of the rifle bench towards Horno Ridge. Beyond the ridge is the Pacific Ocean. The top of the mountain is shrouded in law hanging clouds. Sometimes the clouds hung just over the Quonset huts in the pictures. If I remember correctly that was the case on this day, and the reason I got my camera out and took this picture, which at the time was the best visual rendering of the 'cloud effect.'
Starting on the mountainside top right can be seen the broad swath of a fire trail. The view here aligns with the red line in the next picture, and my Quonset hut has a red elliptical circle around it.
