Here are some good old radio shows.

    Green Hornet
    Captain Midnight
    Fiber McGee & Molly
Inter Sancktom(SP) I called it the Squeeky Door.

Used to lay on the floor with my secret decoder ring and decode the message at the end of the Captain Midnight show.

    Never missed these programs.

Hay Doc I grow up to country music. Like Hank Williams & Patsey Cline I am sure that the big bands were good to. I have some of it. SSGT Francisco.

For those who would like to hear some authentic music from the World War II era, I put together a audio collection for some of my buddies. The collection includes over 65 selections by the original artist of the era. http://www.vmb613.com/music.htm Enjoy!

"Great" in the title should have been a clue that it was not AC/DC, brother.

"Great" is a matter of personal preference. The music this thread speaks about is NOT what my generation would consider GREAT. Not my dad's generation either.

It is a matter of preference, but this is a thread in the WW-II forum.

Great link Bob, passed this on to several Marines I know from the greatest Generation. I grew up to big band music and am a true Glenn Miller fan. I also like A/C , Pink Floyd and open minded to all types of music. Some people just need to listen to this Big Band music.
