You could see the mines because of the wind blown sand. Still almost killed by one. One step to the right by Sgt Grossman ( spelled wrong ) and at least three of us killed or injured. It was a toe popper. It was set off after the tank mine exploded that one of the guys set a 1 pound c-4 charge on.
