Which is better in Opinion AJ or AF

My friend signed up for the Marines and is due to leave this coming September, and he is deciding on AJ or AF as one of his programs.[IMG]images/smilies/confused.gif[/IMG] He just doesnt know which one is better to do. He wants a job that he can use not only in his duty as a Marine but also to be used in civilian work that will earn his the most money. He just needs others' opinions on which is the most beneficial for his wallet. Also beneficial in general.

doesn't matter what aviation job he signs up for. the civilian options are marvelous. the only one i know of that doesn't have a good civilian counterpart is AO and im probably gonna catch hell for this from some of the "IYAOYAS" guys but this is coming from the mouths of instructors.

My son is in aviation electronics and is loving the schooling he is getting and to be honest mechanical electronics no difference when you do get into the civillian job market both will pay very well
