I was with 232, 72-73 in Japan, Philippines, Japan Philippines, Vietnam and Thailand. We were the last Marines to leave combat operations in the war.

Interesting thread. I was in Vietnam from September 1966 to April 1968 and moved from Danang to Chu Lai and back to Danang. I was with VMFA 314, VMFA 115, and VMCJ1.
