    Question Hell's Jukebox

    Hell's Jukebox
    AM Radio

What music do they have to endure in hell? What do the eternally damned listen to?

What is the worst song you ever heard?

To start things off, I will nominate "Seasons In The Sun" by Terry Jacks.

For those who do not remember the chorus is:

We had joy we had fun
We had seasons in the sun
But the hills that we climbed were just seasons
    Out of time......

    Ellie

"Afternoon Delight" is a 1976 hit song by the Starland Vocal Band, written by Bill Danoff, featuring close harmony and sexually suggestive lyrics. It became a number-one U.S. Billboard Hot 100 single on July 10, 1976. Some critics have suggested the song has since become a shorthand for the excesses of the 70s, as well as soft rock.

    Afternoon Delight
    ( Starland Vocal Band )

Gonna find my baby, gonna hold her tight
    Gonna grab some afternoon delight
My motto's always been 'when it's right, it's right'
Why wait until the middle of a cold dark night?
When everything's a little clearer in the light of day
And we know the night is always gonna be there any way

Thinkin' of you's workin' up my appetite
Looking forward to a little afternoon delight
Rubbin' sticks and stones together makes the sparks ingite
And the thought of lovin' you is getting so exciting
    Sky rockets in flight
    Afternoon delight
    Afternoon delight
    Afternoon delight

Started out this morning feeling so polite
I always though a fish could not be caught who wouldn't bite
But you've got some bait a waitin' and I think I might try nibbling
    A little afternoon delight
    Sky rockets in flight
    Afternoon delight
    Afternoon delight
    Afternoon delight

Please be waiting for me, baby, when I come around
We could make a lot of lovin' 'for the sun goes down

Thinkin' of you's workin' up my appetite
Looking forward to a little afternoon delight
Rubbin' sticks and stones together makes the sparks ingite
And the thought of lovin' you is getting so exciting
    Sky rockets in flight
    Afternoon delight
    Afternoon delight
    Afternoon delight

    Afternoon delight!

The best part was watching Donny and Marie smooch (almost) when doing love songs.

I remember when they had their own Variety Hour. Anyone else remember John Denver, Bobby Goldsboro? Who was the guy that could imitate a cricket?

"My bucket has got a hole in it" by Ricky Nelson of Ozzie and Harriet fame.
My bucket has got a hole in it
My bucket has got a hole in it
My bucket has got a hole in it
    It don't work no more.

Of coarse it doesn't, you dipsh*t! (He did make money off of it.)

My absolute worst is "If your going to San Francisco be sure to wear flowers in your hair.
If your going to San Francisco there will be a love in there."
    Scott McKenzie

What a bunch of bullsh*t. Guys wearing flowers in their hair always seemed rather odd under any circumstances unless to camouflage(?)
