What are your favourite Patriotic songs?
Hi everyone!
In preparation for Independence Day, I'm going to assemble a patriotic music playlist (boy do I love the internet, lol). Anyway, I'd love to hear you guys' suggestions? Track order is important as well, and if you have a favourite rendition of a song by a particular artist, list that as well
I'm aiming for anywhere between 10-20 songs.
I love living in the UK, where you feel like an underdog when you're american, it makes these kinds of songs especially inspiring
So far, I've found a good reading of the pledge of allegiance and Declaration of Independence, and of course some essentials like the National Anthem, amazing grace, God Bless the USA (lee greenwood ) and 'This land is our land' (pete seeger).
Can't wait to hear your thoughts...
