Without investing too much thought, FIGMO and FUBAR come to mind.
FUBAR has a story all its own, when we sent a boot 2nd Lt. to the O Club paging Major Fubar so he could report in to his new Commanding Officer.

FIGMO?
Fvckit
I
Got
My
Orders.
Okinawa, 196?. Junk on the Bunk, three days before he was due to rotate. Single racks. The Colonel breezing through, just nodding his head.
Saw a red (homemade) wooden ladder propped up against one of the racks, with no layout. "What is THIS?"
"Too short to sweat it, Sir, So short I need a ladder to climb up into the rack, Sir. FIGMO "
His orders were cancelled and he got a three month involuntary extention on the Rock.
(The Colonel didn't have a sense of humor.)

Yeah, the subject of one of Bones' and my phone conversations one day. When President Carter decided to rescue the Iranian Hostages - his unit was one to come down from Tustin. Anyways, right in front of HMA-369's (HMT-303 when you were there Rat) hangar, as the birds taxied in........ they intermeshed rotor blades and the sh!t flew!!!!! And I mean FLEW - clear down to VMO-2's end of the flight line, and down to HMA-169's too. (I am guessing this was before they did the remodel of the airfield, and before you were there??)
We stood down for a week. FOD walk was 3 days. My bird got a chunk of crap thru the engine access bay door, missed all the hydraulic lines and fuel lines, just pierced the cowling (both sides).
I just watched a special on TV about that effort in Iran not to long ago.
Even tho I met Bone's here, we sucked alot of the same jet fumes together, flew the same airspace, and walked alot of the same tarmac too.
You too Rat. But, you worked in Hams, so you don't rate. LMAO
