Sir, I Think We've Lost The BLT

This is an outstanding slide show with moderation by those that were there serving as peace keepers in Beruit Lebanon 23 Oct 1983. Its interesting to hear what these Marines and Chaplan have to say in retrospect of that horrible day. May we never forget these Marines, Soldiers and Sailors for their sacrifice.

    .

    Excellent tribute.

Except for 'ferg81mm', the rest of the viewers have been of the +50 crowd.

We need more of the younger set to read this.

    Thanks Jim.

I was in MOS school in Quantico when it happened. The Red Cross immediately set up to collect 200 units of blood donations. At least 2,000 Marines and family members showed up to donate.

I started watching the memorial presentation and just had to stop. Some days you just can't watch.

Yellowwing I know what you are saying. As I looked I got this horrible feeling in my gut. Then the tears started. I had to leave.
