I dont know if I would call it over reacting.. Sounds like you dont want to be in the Corps and if you dont want to be there we dont want you there.

Thumbs down Is it to late?

    Marine Corps Values

    Honor, Courage and Commitment.

Maintain a high standerd of integrity. Respect yourself and others. This is just a few of the values.

The Marine Corps uniform is worn with pride and respect.

Mr. Unknown if you don't have the pride to tell the truth to get into the Marine Corps you Damn will don't have the right to wear OUR MARINE UNIFORM.

Sounds like Unknown needs a little "Thump Call"

bottom line both the kid AND the Recruiter could get into a world of **** if a depper allegates. Obviously the kids is either flaking or he is ****ed off at his recruiter. I see it out here all the time. A poolee starts developing apathy, and they look for a way out. I'm venturing to see about 50% of contracts out there could be looked at as fradulant if you really tried to disect it. So bottom line, the kid wants out and he's apathetic. I say fukk off kid, you signed a contract now follow it. If you don't you are screwed.

Hey..bates_iyaoyas...you tell em! You say you see "it out here" all the time. Where is out here? Your profile is a little sketchy. I assume that you are still active duty status? gbudd

Yes gbud, I am active duty. And currently am a Recruiter (for another 1 1/2 yrs). Soon enough I'll be back in the FMF where I belong.

From what his post is stating is its about his criminal background.. So you know from that it cant be good. If he thought it was worth lying about I am sure its pretty big..

No doubt, guess Unknown got out while the getting was good. Too bad you can't run his back ground.

I am not sure how recruting is these days. When I recruited ib Buffalo New Yok 1980 - 1983 if we even thought about frauding we were toast on the spot period. If this recruiter is this desperate to have apoolee lye about things then that speaks volumes to me about the Marine Recruiter, he or she is not fit to have the title Marine. Umless that recruiter is rolling a hole lot of dougnuts then he or she as a Marine their carree is over. I do doubt however that a Marine would put themselves in that position. If the recruiter is this desperate to prove the numbers that he or she can produce this is very sad indeed. The comman group needs to call this recruiter to the carpet for counseling NOW...!!! The RI and the station SgtMaj and even up to the district director needs to now about potential frauds that are taking place and if this individual has already deped then the recruiter needs to find another place. When alligations take place a hold lot of hurt goes out. I am hoping that unknown is just fabricating the story and didn't really go into my beloved Marine Corps. If he did then we need to get this driftwood out now.
