Mullins, your first goal is to earn the title. Once that is done, set a new goal of being worthy of the title. Along the way, try proving your detractors wrong.

she shouldn't worry what others are-
do the best she can do

I've tried to search all over the place for stories,

    from other female Marines,

but seeing as there aren't many
    its been a bit difficult.

    I chose the MOS for
    Engineering/Construction and

my recruiter told me the other day
that as of right now my job is 1371 Combat Engineer.

I have been looking at what this job entails
and was curious if there are any other females
    that have chosen this route
and what they can say about it

    I'm Old,
    I'm Cranky
*and i'm not a Woman Marine
and things in the Corps have changed
since my days *playing combat engineer

from my understanding of current modes
to qualify "ENLISTEE's" into a PROFESSIONAL
    MarineCorps -
your recruiter telling you that you were scheduled
for a 1371 specialty mos sounds doubtfull to me.
*Unless - you are enlisting into the RESERVES ?

IF you are enlisting into the reserves
you started asking the wrong questions.

    oh yes , also,
you could have waited untill the day before
you left for Parris Island to ask your question-

at least you have a little more common sense
than many thru here in the past.

    good luck

Mitch, the last time Ed was right, 8 tracks were popular.

Billy; I can't help it that you don't like Ed! I do. He's a good guy, and we have to humor him. He still believes that Mike is going to put in a chat room, here, because you told him (ED) that you would talk to Mike and Andy about it.

You're probably right about Ed. He and Troop 901 are both gullible. Next thing you know; Troop will want to be named Dispatcher in the Chat Room (if there was one) and Ed would want the chat room to be named Ed's Place.

Mike, said there would only be a chat room if Keggler was the moderator.

I thought you all were calling him Ed because he had "ED"

Good point Russ! So, from now on, we'll call him erectile dysfunction, or ED.

I wish they would get a chat room. I have talked to Ed on the phone a few times. I know you won't believe this shet.....but he actually talks vertically, just like he posts. Never a sentence with more than 4 words in it.

  14. #29
The question is; why does Ed want a chat room?
