Your question can be read two ways, just as easily one way or another.
1. Did anyone like THEIR duty, no matter what it was?
2. Did any scout sniper like HIS duty as a scout sniper?
It can be read both ways, but especially the first way, because of the way it's worded.

It's best to say never mind then. Didn't they teach you nothin on Saipan?

Don't go swimming at the GROTTO on Saipan and leave your wallet in your car or anything else. Come back to my car after swimming, climbed those long flights of stairs, get in my car, look for my bag and ZAP, its not there, window looked like it got hauled down and broke it off the tracks. Had driver's license, A%P license, PX ID card, some money, ALL GONE. Welcome to the ISLAND OF THIEVES as Magellan, whom discovered those islands on his circumnavigation of the world back in 1500's sometime. For the longest time, maps read on those islands as "ISLAS DE LOS LADRONES" or "ISLANDS OF THIEVES". He was talking about Saipan as well. So what did I learn on Saipan? They got VERY STICKY FINGERS and sometimes, you just have to take Magellan's word for it though it was some 500 years after the fact. Luckily I had a spare key to get home with. Barefooted, but walletless. And a broken window.
