I just graduated MCT and I'm on my way to my mos school which is 0621 field radio operator I found out I will be doing FROC field radio operator course but I have no idea what to expect could anyone give me some info on what training is like on a daily basis?
Cannot speak to the training at your job school. You will probably be assigned to a victor unit and be put in an infantry platoon as their resident RO. You may get stuck in headquarters. If you are put in an infantry platoon, which is probably where you'll end up, you will do the day to day stuff with the grunts in the fleet. You also may get called to the comm shop to do stuff specific to your MOS. If you don't want to be part of the infantry life style, fail RO school, and go data. My buddy failed data on purpose to become an RO. Good luck
