- Military Biography:
- I came from a military family everything from a major general down to terminal lances and everything in between. I always knew I'd be a marine. When I first found a recruiter my daddy talked me out of it. He said it was no place for a woman, and that back when he was in they were treated like trash. Well my recruiter told him it's different now (surprise lol he lied). I got onto the island. Left the island. Went to Geiger and had a blast. The only b billet I'd want to do would be a combat instructor. Then I spent 5 lovely months in beautiful 29 palms. Then I hit the fleet and got stuck out in Margarita. While my friends are out in Thailand Oki Australia Germany Afghanistan I'm posted up in HQBN. Bluegh. The POG of the POG of the POG. POG team six. The place marines go to die. But luckily I get the opportunity to work with a bunch of other MOS's. I've pulled lanyards on howitzers and B.S.'d with the cannoneers. I've gone to several grunt units to drop off gear, program and op check the programs we use now, and troubleshoot radios. I’m a disgruntled marine in a unit full disgruntled marines so I hide the fact I really deep down love the Marine Corps, sure it’s got some BS what in life doesn’t. I love hearing old timers talk about the good times they had when they were in. even if it was during a rough time they can always think of good moments in all the bad. Seeing how old they are but they still remember their buddies the crazy stuff they did and even the dickheads they hated in their units. It’s the camaraderie the brotherhood that we all love and remember. Sure we’ll break each other’s balls even on us females no we don’t have any it a metaphor. If u has any stories or advice I’m a great listener and eager to hear it. Semper Fi
