    Sgt I currently live in Wisconsin and I am trying very hard to join the Marine Corps I have sent in my paperwork and am schedulled to go to MEPS on thursday. However last week when I met with my recruiter he informed me that active duty is no longer available to me and is trying to push me to go reserves. Do you know if this is accurate? Is there anything that I can do? I do not want to be a reservist I would like to be a full time active duty Marine. I do not have the option to wait as I am currently 27 and will turn 28 in March. I feel very much as though I am being forced to do something I do not want to do. Any advice would be very helpfull.
