Hmmm, I don't seem to remember the burgers. But, I used to walk to McDonalds via a dirt road out the back way thru the woods! Once, me and a buddy were walking to McD's when we heard a car screaming down the road towards us. It was an MP M1009 Blazer bearing down on us FAST! He screeches to a stop, jumps out, levels his 1911 on us, and hollers, Up against the vehicle! Turns out they were looking for someone who had just stabbed another Marine at the chow hall! I didn't go out the back way for awhile after that!

Talked to Cpl that just returned from okie, said the base was pretty much on lockdown for Sgts and below. Mainland may be a little more lax. So far I've learned that a cool DS has a strict command, and a crappy place has a lax command...
