We were there at the same time, I was in Golf.

I was at OCS this past summer, May - August 2009. PLC-C 2009, Bravo Company 3rd Platoon.

When were you at OCS?

Erin it is possible to make all kinds of progress physically and fast. One key, switch it up. I would post another pick so you could see what it looks like without a shirt but... no. I was given a good plan and still remember had to still run and do sit ups and pull ups and such. It takes a good deal of your free time. We frequently got snowed in and couldn't do much unless you wanted to walk to the gym which was about 1/2 mile. So I grabbed a bed post and did squats, I did push ups. I did anything that I could to stay strong during the hard times, and yes I walked to the gym at 5 below and snowing. Good luck to you and feel free to ask anything you want

Good luck with your choice! I'll keep as much information posted as possible. I see you're already scheduled to ship to boot, so it is a little late so suggest the PLC option. However, if you can keep that GPA up and PFT scores high maybe you can get selected for OCS from the enlisted side. Either way, I wish you luck.

I was reading over your post about Marine Aviation. We're on the same path. I was also looking into AFROTC and, like you, eventually noticed the lack of professionalism and respect the Air Force demands. In any case, I decided to sign a 4 year enlisted contract so when I become an officer I'll be a 'Mustang.' I ship out in 8 days on August 11th. I'd like you to keep me posted on what you're going through so I can get a better understanding. Lord knows I don't want to be a career grunt... yet...
