Those are some fine calibered rifles, Sergeant. It might sound kind of dumb, but I haven't done much research on the Dakota's; what kind of big game is out there? Deer, elk, antelope?

Thank you Sergeant. It sure is a Remington 700. My favorite and most accurate weapon. It's a .270 with a Leupold 3.5X10X40 on it. Shoots like a charm too!

RON.....my "new" tranny, EXPLODED!! WAS...a 350, with 2000 stall c. and shift kit. U-joint at the trans.......BOOM! Split the case IN HALF! Getting "new", d-shaft, yokes (BIGGER!), and bought a case for $70.00. Had to cut my custom, welded exhaust, to get trans out! DUH! DUH! DUH!...MY FAULT! Rebuilt everything.....except drive shaft!! Let ya' know how it ALL turns out!......SEMPER FI.....dopy, Doc Greek....DUH!

Sarge....I remember racing my 68 "Goat", against 396 Chevelles...and LOOSING! My 4 speed, 4:11 posi, was JUST TOO HEAVY!! I think....it had a "Muncie" trans.??? Used a set of "cheater slicks", on "weekend runs!!" YEAH! I miss the "simple-old days!"...Doc Greek

Sarge....I went to the local Ford dealer, and test drove a 09 Cobra. Already knew the price, but....HAD to drive it! Dam supercharger, makes loud whining noise, BUT...it hauls ASS!! 4 cam heads, headers, ALL the "luxury" gadgets! TOO F*****G EXPENSIVE!! I'll keep my old GT, 19 MPG, and quick enough. Good luck with that "crate motor", I put a crate Chevy, 4 bolt, 383CI, and a "trick 350 tranny", and a 4:11 Posi, in my 77 Scottsdale, Stepside....less than 50 miles....tranny EXPLODED, split case in HALF!! New tranny case, new driveshaft, with bigger yokes, and u-joints!! I guess I'm addicted!! Best of luck, with yours!!....Doc Greek
