[yes, it is true: prior service members who joined the USMCR were not authorized to go to USMC bootcamp, much as it would have been best. CMC did not allow this in 1983. However, while on I-I duty as a FTS reservist on active duty, I attended a three week USMC NCO School in Millington, TN in 1985.} US Navy 1969-1973 as Crypto Linguist CTI-3, later as a Marine Corps Reservist and FTS at Reserve Center with MOS 0121 Pesonnel (SRB) Clerk
