Ok, so I am currently a contracted officer candidate waiting for selection. My question is this the CLRP (college loan repayment program) has been suspended so that leaves me and others like me who have accumulated college debt high and dry. I was wondering if the Corps plans on bringing this program back or are there other programs out there to help with college debt?

High and dry? You sound like someone made you get a higher education to set yourself up for a brighter future.

But actually there is a very good program that helps you pay back college debt. It's called working.

The only other program like such that I know about is called U.S. Army.

High and dry was meant to be more innocent than it came across. I am aware that working is an option and while I intend to make the Corps a career which will provide more than enough and allow me to pay college off with my pay I was merely curious on available programs to make repayment easier.

Also I'd rather work a 9-5 than join anything but the Corps.
