View Full Version : 21XX Ground Ordnance Maintenance
Any Marines here who've been in this field that can give me the gist of the job besides the obvious description? Preferably I would like to be in small arms repair or precision weapons repair, but...
Or anyone who's knows anything? I asked my recruiter today, and all I he said was, "uh you know more than I do about it, I'm aviation bro."
Yeah, sorry, just keeping the thread bumped so maybe someone with experience might see it. My recruiter is calling up a dude he knows who was in Ordnance.

Hmmmm.....wish I could give some useful advice. I sort of ran into the same thing when I looked into other jobs...no one with experience to talk to.
I assume you've tried the usual search engines using the MOS? And come up empty?
Yeah, basically. It seems like a pretty legit MOS, but there's not anyone I've found that's done it.. the only job that would suck in the 21XX field is Machinist, thankfully the reqs for that require perfect color vision, which I don't have.
