I enlisted for 0300 and I got UV Security Forces. From asking around and researching I've learned that I now have a 5 year contract. I will be in UV SF for the first 2-3 years, then I'm going back with the grunts.
My question is..will I be able to be attached to a FAST company? I'd like to get 8154 as my MOS but I read online that you have to be at least LCpl and I'll probably be PFC out of boot camp. But I also understand that UW SF is different than UV SF. Can someone give me some more information about what I'll be doing? My recruiter is on leave and none of the other recruiters know anything about my MOS at the office other than what I can find online.
