Marines I am in an interesting situation here.
My recruiter called me with an infantry job with a ship date October 25th. Normally I would take it no questions asked, but I want to go Recon. I feel like I need more time in the swimming pool so that way I have the best chance possible of passing the Indoc if i even end up getting a shot at it.
My recruiter is saying that there aren't alot of jobs available and doesn't want to tell me to wait and have me not get a job.
He understands my situation and supports it, but of course wants me to take the job.
Any advice would be helpful.
Or if any Marines on here just recently finished BRC or took the indoc, could you tell me what the indoc consists of?
Thanks.
