Is infantry the way to go?

Well I'm pretty adamant on my MOS being infantry ; but can anyone tell me pros and cons of being in infantry?

Yea, garrison sucks a big fat one, but deployment is fun. I think I would spend my whole contract where I was if I could...maybe not, you'd go crazy. I don't or wouldn't want to have any other MOS.

take this for what its worth from a POG and a reservist...

Given the opportunity to go back I would go infantry and active duty. At its core its what being a Marine is...
