from where im located i can go to either parris island or san diego but first i want to now whitch is best????
Depends... I would say PI because I went through there. But I am female so kinda had to.

OMG! I was there from the first week in May til week before last in July...............but, I'm from SC so I was used to it somewhat and I had sense enough to know to drink masive amounts of water!

I graduated in August! Spent the whole summer there, however like you I was use to it growing up in Coastal, Ga., same climate and somehow was immune to gnats

Parris Island.
Speaking of PI in the summer, I graduated at the end of June. I'm from Ohio, it was horrid.
I still say PI.

If you take PI and multiply it times the radius squared you can get the area of a circle.
All the girls go to PI so I would take that one.
I went to San Diego.

Both are governed by the same SOP and Training Schedule. Depends on if you like sand flea's or airplanes.

There is small difference..... P.I. Marines say how MCRDSD din't have to put up with sand fleas and MCRDSD Marines tell P.I. Marines that the didn't hve to deal with mount mother f****r!

Marine Corps training is all the same no matter where you get it.
Heat and Sand Fleas verses Mountains is the difference
How the hell do you get a choice?

im located in southern indiana and beside kentucky indiana offers training at san diego and kentucky offers it at Parris Island!!!!!!!

No matter where you get trained you'll be proud and we all are the proudest from the place we got trained at. Me I think PI is the BEST but becoming a Marine is the BEST thing you'll ever do in your life.
You don't see any other branch of service stick together like we do and are respected from all branches of the service.

I had a taste of your mountains when I went to training for Nam.
Sand fleas bite and mountains don't, plus I was in shape back then and they were a cake walk.

I didn't say a bite hurt me!!!!!!!! But were annoying
We had to stand at attention and let them bite, didn't understand the lesson behind it until Nam.
Like I said before all of us are Marines. We have all teased each other about PI verses Deigo for years but in the end we are all brothers and Marines.
