Basically this is how it is. Im trying to get into NROTC but I need to retake the ACT, which I can only do this fall, and Im going to talk to the recruiter as soon as Im done with my medical training for the USNSCC. My questions that I have would be:

-When should I submit my application for NROTC? What would be the latest I could?
-I already have 3 letters of recommendation from my teachers at school, should I try to get some more?
-Everyone continuously tells me that the recruiter is only concerned about enlisting me so he is going to "lie" to me, or spin the story. How much truth is there to that?

And Im sorry if these questions are just dumb but I just want to get everything straightened out before I leave school for summer break in two days.

"Everyone" doesn't have a clue, and the recruiter has NO reason to lie to you. Quite frankly, with the numbers the way they are these days, 'we' turn more people away than we accept. "Everyone" is usually full of crap. Find out for yourself.
