My chances of joining?

Hello Marines, I have a GED with 13 credits, will have my last 2 in July. I recently took the ASVAB for the Army and got a 59. I have no law violations, or medical problems. Although I want to join the Army I would rather be a Marine. So my questions are, what are my chances of joining, and approximately when would I leave for boot camp?

My Suggestion is that you go Talk to a Marine Recruiter in Person and Ask.

Do as Rocky suggested, and also do a search on the site for GED's and college credits as this topic has been covered many times before.

You can't have it both ways...either join the army or become a Marine.

If you are second guessing the Marines...I would suggest following your own advice and join the army.

You need to have heart to join the Marines...a Semper-Fi heart!

What I meant to say was that I want to be a Marine first, but if I can't get in with a GED + 15 credits, I want to go Army.
