It is pretty exciting that today will be my last PT, before I ship out on Monday! I can't wait to get out of here and go earn the title of Marine. I can't believe it, it feels almost unreal.

At our PT, the recruiters will line up any poolees who are participating in their last one before they leave. Everyone is required to shake hands with the people who are leaving. I know it would be pretty motivating if i were leaving tomorrow. Anyway, good luck!

Thanks guys! I go to the hotel tonight because I weigh in at MEPS tomorrow morning! I was 15 lbs overweight 2 months ago, my max weight is 181, I checked my weight at my recruiters office and after 2 months of strenuous work outs, i am glad to say that my weight is 178! so hopefully the scales at MEPS say the same.

Remember, what you eat and drink today will play a big factor in determining your weight. Water weight especially is no joke. If you are that close to weight, my advice would be to eat small snacks and minimal drinking today.

Yea I know, like today all I am drinking is distilled water and thats it, and i am going to be working out all day today and going to hit the sauna before i go to the hotel to get the water weight out

well i was suppose to go to the hotel and weigh in and do my pullups and crunches then come back friday nite and have saturday to relax but Meps was cancelled for some reason now i just got to do it on monday at Meps when i leave

Man I am excited and Nervous at the same time haha! It is just unbelievable, like it will hit you for real on the plane or on the bus ride to the depot, and then once you hear that DI's voice "Get off my bus!" your challenge begins then haha

I've been waiting for so long now it just seems so surreal that its actually happening now. I got pushed back a couple times so its still just like wow its actually going to happen this time. haha But Im right there with ya excited and nervous but sure as hell ready to go.
I dont think we'll have any similar or nerve racking experience like this again in our lifetime. You can only prepare so much and no more and i'm sure when we get there we're gonna say i wish i did more of this or that.
LoL the break you to make you effect, enjoy it nicka in August we'll be brothers.
