When you enlist with the 13xx field what is the breakdown of what percent actually get to be combat engineers? I'm just wondering if most people in this field get to be engineers as opposed to being placed in another 13xx mos such as bulk fuel or equipment mechanic.

This i do not know, but i do know that the Marine Corps will put you where they need you in any MOS that you selected the 13xx field for.

Basically, it's "Needs of the Corps" at the time. And that goes for ANY MOS series. Sometimes they need exactly what you want...other times..well...LOL.

thanks for the response. I guess you just hope they need what you want. CE sounds awesome. Mechanic...not so much.
