5942 job in the reserves

I have a few questions about 5942 Radar repair tech in the reserves. I was wondering what a drill weekend would be like for this mos or if anyone here has held this mos as active or reserve and can give me any info about it.

How do deployments work in the reserves? I know that units are on a deployment schedule of some sort but when the time comes for the unit I would be with to deploy does everyone with the unit go or how does that work?

On a deployment would someone with my mos be on base the whole time?

Any info about this mos and mos school that anyone can give me would be great.

I cannot give you any information about the MOS but I could tell you about deployments. Deployments work like this, you are informed a few months in advanced, you wait a long time to see if you are going, then you get the orders and go to pre training. The good thing about reserves is you can always request a deployment and augment with a unit that is going in the near future.
