Rct. Webb is currently at Boot Camp, ready to graduate on Jan 17. He sends his wife letters from RT, and she posts them to his blog. They are a great read and give a look at what Boot Camp is like from someone currently living it .

Hey, alright! You should be able to see me just fine, but I will be wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt that says

KPP
[PICTURE OF TREE]
Saving you since '82!

and WALK! in caps on the back.

Also, it is interesting to compare IST scores with someone of similar height and weight. They are almost identicle.

Back on topic, Capital M, I just checked out fullmetaljournal, I too want an update. :D

Endurance, I'll leave a post on your profile in reply, so we can keep this thread on topic.

Wtf. Can we get this deleted? An Admin around? Im all for being prepared physically, which our RSS has the wonderful job of helping, but bootcamp is supposed to be a right of passage. Something you EARN. This is basically cheating. Youre going to learn the IN-OUTS here. This isnt right. Now we can see who the scared ones are. Let bootcamp be a mystery. Ive read alot of posts where poolees say its going to be 'fun' and how theyre so exciited but try not to sound cocky but inside they think its going to be a sinch (ya youre out there) but wheres the 'fun and suprise' when you already know whats going down? You guys are ridiculous.

Well to be honest, anyone who's ever seen the basic training matrix, asked a Marine, or seen Ears, Open, Eyeballs, Click already know "whats going down". Can't blame any of these poolees if they want to know more information, and it doesn't necessarily mean they are scared. Just my 2 cents.

Go ahead, learn all you can, but in the end Bootcamp will be your experience, no one elses.

We won't know until we have been through it. The Sergeant speaks the truth. This is no more an "ins and outs" than Gunnery Sergeant William Price's book, "Devil Dog Diary," in which he essentially does a day-by-day.

If you don't want to read the blog, then don't. In my humble opinion, this is a bit like seeing a trailer for a movie. Enough to make you want it more, but doesn't give you all that much, either.

20 days to boot camp.

Boot doesn't make cookie cutter Marines. We are Brothers, that is very true. But we work together to the point that we rely on our differences. { I guess I'm speakin of the past]. Your boot experience will bring out your good points, or you will be the rare shetbird, there are a few.... Personally, I would rather be a cheap 'lady than a shetbird.

Suggestion:, Grab your pride, and it will be yours forever.

This is a great blog! Just read it completely from the very beginning! This isn't really cheating since in the recruiting station they literally go over the whole bootcamp chart with you and like said before watching the ears open eye balls click movies and videos you already know wassup. This is just reading the recruits thoughts and experiences and how he is dealing with it and im sure i will be going through the whole bootcamp with my own personal thoughts about it and there will be differences and similarities to his. Anyway this is just reading... it will obviously be way different going through it personally. Can't wait! 52 more days! 20100208.

Very good job Marine! I appreciate the effort that you and your wife had to go through to give us poolees that information. I read it from first post to the last. It was one of the most informative websites on boot camp I have been to. It has inspired me to do the same thing, only from MCRD San Diego instead. I will be writing my dad and he will post stuff on my blog until I graduate. It is mainly for family and friends purposes but if it helps anyone a fraction of what yours did it would make me happy.
