Woke up this morning at 9:30 and missed 5 calls from my RSS. The last message said that if they dont hear back from me by 9:00 the spot that opened up would have to be given to someone else. I was so mad but I figured I would call and see if there was anything I could do. My recruiter asked if I could leave Tuesday and he needed to know right than. I didnt know because Im finishing up my last class for my associates so I had to hang up and call my teacher. Just so happens he is in favor of the Marine Corp and exempted me from the rest of the semester. So instead of leaving Jan 5 I am now moved up to Dec. 1st. Dec 1st is my birthday. Getting the honor of standing on yellow footprints as a birthday present? Yes please. MCRD San Diego here I come.

I can't wait for boot camp.. been in the DEP almost 6 months and have another 7 to go but just thinking about being three days out from boot makes me nervous... you Poolees been running around like your on crack?
