Ship Date moved closer

Im now scheduled to ship 20100607 and my MOS has been changed from 0231 to Security Force. Its another MOS I had picked out of my top three. Any Marines wanna give me some heads up and advice on Security Force? I know they guard Nuclear Submarines and Naval bases and ships I know that much

There are a few threads about security forces throughout the Poolee hall and Ask a Marine.


From what I've heard its a 5 year contract. First couple of years are spent providing security, next few are with an infantry unit.
