They're not hats, they're "covers"! And yes, "covers" come in all sizes to fit everyones grape.

Yall laugh, but believe me when you're in boot camp it ain't too funny.
I got a huge grape too, and when they rushed us through the warehouse to grab frames for our Service covers I couldn't find the 7 5/8s that I needed. I ended up with one painfull ass cover to wear for graduation.
To the OP, I'm sorry but I seriously doubt they will have a size 8 frame. You may have to have that stuff special ordered, shipped in from another country or something.
For your cammie covers just get a XL and pray.

Had a recruit in boot camp that had a huge head, we called him "Bonk" as in Bonks Revenge, remember that old video game in Nintendo any one?
Worked with a guy that actually wore a size 8 smokey on the range. We called him lurch. He talked so slow that you could eat lunch faster than he could finish a sentence. Whaaaats uppp dudes.

What is it with these stupid questions about clothing fitting? If the Marine Corps allows you to enlist, they are going to find something for you to wear.
I know a SSgt with a size 8 1/4... giant grape guys... it's hilarious. 'course it could have been an 8.
they'll see you have a gianormous head when you get there and make sure you get what you need. Worse case they will order it for you when you get your credit card from the navy exchange and have it sent to them.

He set a record in the state that year for high temp survivors, the doc's attributed it to his hat size "MONDO"
I figured it would have cooked his brain pan and he'd be all messed and need spoon feeding but he pulled through just fine, best i can tell.

With all due respect, i am no chubby chaser in any shape are form....last time i went to dinner with a bigger women i spent 140 dollars and that was just for the two of us, and then after dinner she wanted desert.

No, at times there have been options to serve 2, 3, 4 and 5 year contracts depending on the MOS and the needs of the Corps. Your contract is really 8 years... that is if you have a contract.
Where's yours? Having trouble getting a waiver for a big head, small prick, and 1-2 homosexual encounters?

I still got my old Cammie Gortex, a canteen, and some other stuff. I love that Gortex, was supposed to had it back to Supply when I got out, but I found an "alternative" way to keep it, and not have to give it back. For those asking I didn't hand in a different one, lets just say can be a very creative person. I still use the Gortex, when it rains, I've had alot of people asked me how the hell I still have that.:D

they have a digi tarp and liner now, no more poncho or poncho liner. they are starting to have cool gear in the Corps... fabtabulous.
