FORT BRAGG, N.C. — A nonprofit group is providing computers to the families of paratroopers and Marines preparing to deploy from North Carolina military bases.

The laptop computers from Operation Homelink will allow families of junior enlisted soldiers to stay in touch with the deployed soldiers and Marines. The group will provide 75 computers to paratroopers at Fort Bragg on Friday and 100 computers to Marines at Camp Lejeune on Saturday.

The nonprofit organization is based in Chicago. It has provided computers to nearly 3,000 military families since 2003.
