I was looking at our training schedule for our next drill and it has "grunt stakes" and "LRC" - does anyone know what either of these 2 are? thank you
You sure it wasn't "grunt skates"? I could tell you what a skate is, no idea what a grunt stake is.

What are "grunt skates" - i mean, I do have the sharpest skates in the company haha

The statement isn't funny. As far as grunt skates, maybe your platoon is doing a PME at the local skating rink. Also, LRC usually means "Learning Resource Center" in Marine Corps education. We all know that can't be it though, a grunt in a classroom?
