Camp Johnson Dining Facility receives award

The Camp Johnson Dining Facility was awarded the W.P.T. Hill Award for the Marine Corps' full service Mess Hall of the Year Monday morning.
The W.P.T. Hill Memorial Awards Program was established in 1985 to improve Marine food service operations by recognizing the best dining facilities throughout the Marine Corps, according to a press release from Camp Lejeune.
The program is named after Maj. Gen. William Pendleton Thompson Hill who was active duty from 1917 through 1955 and served as the Camp Lejeune commander during 1941.
